Notice of Affiliated Business Arrangements

In connection with the sale of your current home or the purchase of a new home, it may be necessary for you to obtain certain real estate related services including real estate brokerage and mortgage lending services. This I-Move website contains services provided by companies that have a beneficial business affiliation with each other. These companies all have common ownership with. Because of this relationship, the use of one or more of these services may provide a financial or other benefit to one or all of these companies.

Set forth below is a standard list of items for which there may be costs related to each service and the estimated range of fees for the services. Not all fees may be applicable, (depending on the State in which your home is located or where you obtain your mortgage) and charges for each particular item may vary. Please contact your SIRVA Relocation real estate counselor, SIRVA Mortgage loan counselor or your real estate agent for more specific information on how our affiliated companies can assist you and provide services to fit your needs.

Mortgage Services: SIRVA Mortgage, Inc.

Possible Closing Fees: Generally .5%-2% of your home value; Fee may include: Application Fee; Appraisal Fee; Attorney's Fees; Credit Report; Document; Preparation Fee; Funding Fee; Processing Fee; Tax Service Fee; Underwriting Fee.

Real Estate Services: SIRVA Relocation provides real estate referral services to licensed real estate brokers and agents through its real estate services division. In New York, New Jersey and Connecticut SIRVA provides real estate broker services through its DJK division.

Real Estate Broker commissions for home or condominium sales are generally 6%-7% of home or condominium value and are generally paid by the Seller. Commissions for brokerage services for rental properties are generally 10%-12% of the first years rent and are paid by the Lessee.

We encourage you to use these companies and there may be discounts for the use of multiple services. However other settlement service providers exist who may offer similar services and fees. You are not required to use any of these companies and may elect use only one of the available services.
